Jónas Sen’s visual work draws on music, memory, dreams, religious imagery and inner landscapes. His visual language has also been shaped by his studies with the artist and esoteric thinker Michael Bertiaux, who was his teacher for a period.

The works are not separate from his musical and literary life, but part of the same imaginative world. They often emerge from meditation, listening, symbolic thought and personal history, forming an evolving body of paintings and visual works.
